Tasks
Under general supervision, the Data Analyst processes and interprets data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and optimize supply chain operations.
- Organize data from multiple supply chain sources, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to improve dashboards.
- Ensure data quality by identifying and addressing inconsistencies, errors, and gaps.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommend process improvements.
- Create and present reports on supply chain KPIs, including efficiency, cost savings, inventory management, and on-time delivery.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations to senior management based on data trends and analyses.
- Evaluate supply chain strategies and suggest adjustments or optimizations.
- Participate in implementing new technologies and systems.
- Collaborate with the Global Service & Parts Hub on KPI and process alignment.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards, and laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant experience may include information systems, end-user support, system design and development, database design, development and administration, or project management.
- Entry level: co-op or internship experience and/or up to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experienced level: at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Senior level: at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to create custom queries and reports based on business needs.
- Knowledge of relational databases and best practices.
- Strong research, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Preferred: 2+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
- Preferred: proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
