Tasks
Under general supervision, the Data Analyst processes and interprets data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and optimize supply chain operations.
- Organize data from multiple supply chain sources, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to improve dashboards.
- Ensure data quality by identifying and addressing inconsistencies, errors, and gaps.
- Provide data-driven insights, process improvement recommendations, reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Evaluate supply chain strategies and suggest adjustments or optimizations.
- Participate in implementing new technologies and systems.
- Collaborate with the Global Service & Parts Hub on KPIs and processes.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards, and laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business Administration, a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant experience may include information systems, end-user support, system design and development, database design, development and administration, or project management. Experience levels range from entry level with co-op, internship, or up to two years of relevant experience to senior level with at least five years.
- Ability to resolve critical IT problems and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong collaboration, communication, organization, research, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to create custom queries and reports.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and Outlook applications.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, MS Access, and MS Project.
- Project planning and project management skills.
Preferred qualifications include two or more years of data analysis experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics; proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Power BI; knowledge of supply chain processes and systems; and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
