Job description

The Finance & Procurement Division of Crédit Agricole CIB supports, organises and ensures the balanced development of the Bank and its businesses. It provides strategic guidance, management methods and tools, measures and analyses activity and efficiency, produces financial information, manages financial risks and executes hedging operations.

You will join the Strategic Management Control (SMC) department within CACIB’s Finance Division, a central management control team with a cross-functional and strategic perspective.

• Support General Management decisions regarding profitability.
• Own commercial and financial profitability standards.
• Manage the Bank’s budgeting process.
• Analyse and control changes in overheads.
• Consolidate and analyse management results and produce forecasts.

Within SMC, the Results and Forecasts team is responsible for coordinating, producing, validating and analysing monthly and quarterly results across businesses and entities, producing quarterly and annual forecasts, preparing and consolidating the global CIB budget, developing the medium- and long-term plan, contributing to regulatory reporting such as EBA stress tests, and responding to requests from Internal Audit, Crédit Agricole SA and statutory auditors.

Reports, analyses and recommended actions are prepared for CACIB General Management and Crédit Agricole SA using data from Finance departments and exchanges with Strategy, business lines, coverage and Risk. The role requires strong deadlines, flexibility, accuracy and information quality, as well as the ability to provide opinions and recommendations to optimise the Bank’s financial management.

Requirements

Education: Postgraduate degree or equivalent. University or business school training, specialising in accounting or management control.

Experience: 6–10 years.

Technical skills: Management control, CIB business knowledge and basic banking accounting knowledge.

Interpersonal skills: Analytical and synthesis abilities, proactive approach, clear written and verbal communication, rigour, numerical aptitude, teamwork, coordination across contributors, curiosity, adaptability and responsiveness.

IT tools: Advanced Excel; PowerPoint and Word. Power BI and Essbase/Oracle Hyperion are a plus.

Languages: Operational English.
