Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

The Control Room Supervisor is a member of the leadership team responsible for launching and managing the adidas ecommerce and retail Distribution Center. This role supports scalable growth by optimizing distribution center operations, improving operational metrics, refining processes, and removing waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a specific functional area in the Distribution Center and achieve productivity, quality, and service-level targets.
  • Train, manage, and develop Control Room associates.
  • Maintain working knowledge of WCS, WMS, and support platforms.
  • Manage the collection, reporting, and feedback of operational data using SAP, Excel, WMS queries, Power BI, and SCI reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse operational issues, escalating when appropriate.
  • Analyze operational data and Warehouse Management Systems to identify trends in order and product flow.
  • Report on productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
  • Direct shop-floor execution and prioritization to meet customer delivery expectations and distribution center metrics.
  • Communicate with shop-floor operations and key stakeholders regarding building flow, special requests, and operational impacts.
  • Maintain OSHA safety standards and report accidents, injuries, damages, and potential safety threats.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in high-volume ecommerce operations.
  • Strong oral and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines through effective planning and organization.
  • Ability to walk and stand extensively on hard surfaces.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of related industry experience.

Schedule and Location

Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Working location: Wilkes-Barre, PA.
