Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in core mainframe technologies: COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS DB/DC.
- Proven experience in both batch and online processing environments.
- Experience working on mainframe re-hosting or migration projects to Raincode or Micro Focus platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Raincode for code changes, compilation, debugging, and unit testing for batch and online applications.
- Ability to perform impact analysis and understand technical designs.
- Experience working on enhancement projects with a good understanding of SDLC.
- Experience in SIT/UAT defect analysis and fixes.
- Awareness of Agile methodologies.
Good to Have
- IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler, Datacom, REXX, and CLIST.
- Telecom domain experience.
Professional Competencies
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
