Your role
The OEM Connected Vehicle Team is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience through software products delivered to Uconnect customers through mobile apps, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
The team is seeking candidates responsible for Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, and Security voice of the customer development, customer functional objective target setting, and feature test plan creation.
The Feature Specialist will support vehicle integration and validation by owning and maintaining the functional objective library, creating test plans and procedures, supporting tech club, and working with cross-functional teams to develop new features. The specialist will also support Platform Engineers in triaging vehicle issues within their domain and support ride-and-drive events.
Responsibilities include defining functional and dysfunctional behavior, performing appropriate risk analysis (HARA), writing end-to-end test plans, and leading benchmarking activities.

- Create and maintain test plans and procedures
- Support issue resolution, triage, and testing for the assigned domain
Your profile
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited program
- Three years of vehicle integration and validation experience or equivalent
- Strong expertise in ADAS, connectivity, or telematics performance may be considered in place of three years of experience
- Strong understanding of operational architecture, use cases, and vehicle and software life cycles
- Experience with vehicle connectivity design and/or testing
- Working knowledge of FMEA, design validation (DV), process validation (PV/DVPR), and test planning
- Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, strategic thinking, summarization, and presentation skills
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environment with minimal assistance
Preferred qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university
- Previous experience in feature design, system design, or integration
- DFSS Green Belt
