Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud and maintain cloud applications. This hands-on role involves designing, coding, and implementing Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, as well as reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Set up cloud infrastructure environments using infrastructure as code.
• Migrate on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Deliver code and scripts.
• Manage suppliers delivering IT services.
• Support the application DevOps lifecycle.
• Perform proofs of concept with new technology solutions.
• Provide L3 support for production incidents.
• Maintain applications, infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers on testing and bug fixes.
• Onboard APIs to the OneAPI/Kong gateway.
• Refresh database data in lower environments from production.
• Guide developers and quality assurance engineers on using the software environment.
• Communicate with upstream and downstream IT teams.
• Provide on-call support when needed.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall work experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience with Azure, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, FluxCD, on-premises to cloud migration, Kubernetes, Azure Monitor, and Datadog.
• Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Front Door, Azure Storage, Azure virtual networks, Azure PostgreSQL, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Kong, Helm, Kustomize, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with security and compliance practices including Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, Coverity, BlackDuck, and Wiz.
