Objective of job
To safeguard Mercedes-Benz's cloud infrastructure, applications, and data by designing, implementing, and managing robust security strategies, controls, and solutions. The role ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations and proactively mitigates cyber threats to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Mercedes-Benz cloud-based assets.

Cloud Security Strategy and Architecture
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with business goals.
- Design secure cloud architectures and infrastructure.
- Select and implement appropriate security technologies and tools.
Security Implementation and Operations
- Configure and manage security controls in cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats and incidents.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Stay current on cloud security threats, technologies, and trends.
- Evaluate current and new security products and services.
- Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of cloud environments.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud security, with a deep understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks such as CSA CCM, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Security, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- More than 5 years of experience focused on cloud operations and cloud security.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science encompassing Information Security.
