Tasks

Software Development

• Plan and manage development pipelines.
• Design, develop, and test applications; debug faults and develop automation and systems-integration scripts.
• Design and improve databases for performance.
• Manage software rollouts with central teams and enhance locally developed applications.
• Build reliable integration layers between local and central applications.
• Gather business requirements, translate them into solutions, and prepare operational documentation.
• Monitor systems, correct software defects, support end users, and manage incidents.
• Evaluate new technologies and platforms and document high-level solution designs.
• Communicate with business owners and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Service Desk and IT Support

• Provide first-line support, handle tickets, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize incidents based on business impact.
• Coordinate with central support teams and follow up on incidents and requests.
• Administer system and user authorization and provide general IT infrastructure support.
• Provide basic network support, software infrastructure support, operating-system support, and database administration.
• Support discussions with business stakeholders and service providers.

IT Security

• Follow secure-coding guidelines and manage authorization and authentication according to the authorization matrix.
• Enhance security architecture knowledge and ensure security by design.
• Resolve security incidents and findings across application, data, and supporting layers.
• Maintain governance documentation for local applications, including data handling, user access management, and related controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• Extensive experience with .NET and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with relational databases and database design.
• Familiarity with project management, agile methodologies, and cross-functional teams.
• SAP, Microsoft Power Platform, cloud computing, development lifecycle, MS Power BI, and ServiceNow experience are advantages.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills.
• Good command of English and Arabic.
• At least two years of IT experience in similar tasks and responsibilities.
