Client Service Officer – Desk Portugal (VIE) H/F

Job description

• Prepare account-opening files, manage prospect information and enter data in dedicated tools.
• Handle daily operations, including debit account management, transfers and monitoring fund inflows and outflows.
• Monitor schedules for loans, renewals and related activities.
• Keep client documentation and regulatory records up to date throughout the relationship.
• Interact directly with clients and contribute to the client relationship alongside the banker.
• Promote the use of digital channels in client interactions.
• Master and comply with internal and external procedures and regulations.
• Prepare client meetings, including reporting, financial proposals, subscription documents, documents for signature and client-file updates, working in tandem with the banker.
• Act as the first line of defense against fraud.
• Interact regularly with other bank departments, including insurance, asset management and legal teams.

Requirements

Only applications from candidates with fluent proficiency in both Portuguese and Spanish will be considered. A Master's degree from a business school or a university degree in finance or economics is required. Initial experience in banking or client-facing teams is an advantage.

Required skills include knowledge of current compliance regulations and related procedures, an interest in financial services, strong stakeholder interaction and customer-service skills, proactivity, curiosity, planning ability, the capacity to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and presentation skills, knowledge and experience of investment products, and good knowledge of local regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other IT applications is required; knowledge of BI, VBA or database management systems is an advantage.
