Job Description
As a Medior Account Manager in Financial Services at Capgemini Group in the Netherlands, you will support the growth of client relationships within the financial sector, with a strong focus on one of the largest banks in the Netherlands. You will work closely with senior account leadership, delivery teams, and internal practices to identify opportunities, coordinate staffing and solution requests, and help ensure a professional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders. Develop an understanding of client needs, challenges, and priorities, and involve the right Capgemini colleagues where needed.
- Account Development: Support the identification and qualification of sales opportunities within existing accounts, from individual consultant requests to smaller solution opportunities.
- Sales Planning: Contribute to account plans and sales activities under the guidance of senior sales and delivery leadership.
- Opportunity Identification: Monitor client developments, open requests, and internal pipeline discussions to identify potential opportunities early.
- Client Focus: Follow up on requests, connect the right people, and ensure clear communication as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day account topics.
- Commercial Coordination: Support proposals, extensions, contract follow-up, and internal approvals with legal, CCM, SalesOps, and senior account leadership.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate account, pipeline, booking, and opportunity information and support timely reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with delivery teams, staffing, solution architects, and internal practices to coordinate requests and prepare clear client responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Around 4–6 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, staffing, consulting, or client-facing roles, preferably within IT consultancy or Financial Services.
- Interest in and basic understanding of the Financial Services industry in the Netherlands.
- Familiarity with IT services, sourcing, consulting, or staffing is a plus.
- Strong communication in Dutch and English, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, structured, and results-driven mindset with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
