Within CACEIS Bank France, the Private Equity Real Estate Solutions (PERES) business line provides services to Private Equity and Real Estate management companies, including depositary, accounting, middle-office and investor services.

As a Client Operations Officer in the Depositary Operations Services & Investors Services department, you will handle activities related to asset position keeping for PERES funds and provide clients with depositary statements reflecting the assets held.

You will manage a portfolio of clients and funds and act as the primary client contact on these matters, working with sales teams, valuers, middle-office teams and depositary control.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client activity through movements recorded in accounts.
  • Collect and verify supporting documentation from clients to update registered positions.
  • Review and validate documentation in accordance with regulations and internal procedures.
  • Enter transactions into the eFront position-keeping tool and contribute to validating transactions entered by colleagues.
  • Manage day-to-day client relations concerning position keeping.
  • Perform occasional checks on client funds as part of circularisation processes.
  • Support reporting on customer satisfaction, complaints and dissatisfaction.
  • Analyse potentially recurring issues and propose and monitor corrective action plans.
  • Alert management and sales teams promptly and provide progress updates through implementation of solutions.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management, finance or accounting.
  • Minimum five years of experience in securities or fund administration; the stated minimum experience level is 6–10 years.
  • Knowledge of depositary, custody, investor register administration or fund valuation activities.
  • Strong client relationship and service skills, with rigour and analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Responsiveness, organisation, teamwork and the ability to make proposals in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally eFront.
