What is the opportunity?
CACEIS Malaysia has been a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, evolving into a trusted hub of operational excellence within the global CACEIS network. Strategically located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 skilled professionals, providing a broad spectrum of services to institutional clients across Europe.
Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems. You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day. Shift hours would be between 8:00am-5:00pm.
What will you do?
- Control and validate market data coming from data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Analyze and execute corporate action events, including dividends, spin-offs, and share splits.
- Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high quality standards.
- Be accountable for global servicing from the operating location, including shifts and work on bank, legal holidays, and weekends when required.
- Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
- Ensure cross-training and rotation of duties occurs regularly to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Periodically review processes to refresh understanding of requirements and review compliance.
Training and specialization
- Relevant educational background in Investment Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg or other service providers is an advantage.
- Banking experience in operations with basic static data and corporate action knowledge.
Skills needed
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiar with core platforms: MDC and GP.
- English language proficiency.
