Atos is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to provide strategic technology vision, technical leadership, innovation and growth for the National Security, Safety and Energy (NSSE) Industry in the UK&I. The role spans the full solution lifecycle, from pre-sales and bid support to delivery, transformation and service operations, and is critical to delivering the industry growth target.

What you’ll do

  • Provide strategic technical leadership across the NSSE Industry, working with Client Partners, Account CTOs, Account Sales Executives, delivery teams, partners and vendors.
  • Develop NSSE Industry-specific technology strategies and roadmaps with fellow industry leaders.
  • Work with the Industry Head to create an improved future position for the industry, including the outcomes and investment required.
  • Drive growth across new and existing clients.
  • Work with Business Lines to develop industry-specific solutions.
  • Act as formal sign-off for industry-specific deals, ensuring business and technical excellence in line with client requirements and Atos standards.
  • Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain awareness of technology trends and bring fresh ideas into the business.
  • Foster collaboration, technical excellence and high performance within the industry technical team.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff and participate in Industry Social Value initiatives.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership as Atos and the industry move into the Agentic era.
  • Collaborate with partners, suppliers and subject matter experts on growth and innovation.

What we’re looking for

  • A UK SC-cleared individual, or someone who can achieve SC clearance.
  • Recent experience within one year with one or more clients in the industry.
  • Proven leadership in enterprise architecture and technology strategy.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following: Data & AI, Cloud and Modern Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Digital Workplace, Digital Applications, and Smart Platforms.
  • Ability to influence senior client and internal stakeholders, including CxOs, Industry Heads and Business Line leaders.
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen, including budget management, utilisation and alignment of technology solutions with business value.
  • Experience in end-to-end client account delivery, including sales and new business, project delivery, service delivery, innovation, roadmapping and stakeholder management.
