The Banque des Entreprises et des Institutionnels advises companies with more than €7 million in revenue, from everyday operating and investment needs to major financing, acquisition and structured-finance transactions.

Attached to an Executive Committee division and working alongside Legal Affairs, Commitments and Collections, the Corporate Special Affairs department is a 12-person operational unit of expert negotiators. It handles complex multi-bank corporate cases involving significant commitments, risk situations and the restructuring of existing debt in an in-bonis context, with the aim of protecting LCL’s interests.

You will manage a client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing each case and its environment and establishing a diagnosis.
  • Developing and leading a negotiation strategy.
  • Implementing the selected solution within LCL’s organization.
  • Acting as the primary contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing your portfolio with significant delegated authority.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent in banking, finance, business school, engineering or university studies.
  • Three to five years of experience.
  • Experience in debt restructuring, with confidence in financial and legal analysis and the surrounding ecosystem.
  • Expertise in corporate credit.
  • Ability to develop a strategy combining risk management with protection of LCL’s image.
  • Availability, natural listening skills, teamwork and networking ability.
  • Rigour, organization, influence and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

The position is non-managerial and classified as executive staff.
