The Banque des Entreprises et des Institutionnels serves companies with more than €7 million in revenue, as well as major national and international groups. It advises them on operating and investment needs, balance-sheet transactions, acquisitions and structured financing.
Within the Corporate Special Affairs department, you will join a 12-person team of expert negotiators handling complex, multi-bank client cases involving structured financing, leveraged transactions and significant risk exposures requiring debt restructuring in an In Bonis context.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients.
- Analyse each case and its environment to establish a diagnosis.
- Develop and lead a negotiation strategy.
- Implement the agreed solution within LCL.
- Act as the primary contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
- Use significant delegated authority to manage your portfolio.
Profile
- Postgraduate degree in banking, finance, business, engineering or a university discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in debt restructuring.
- Strong financial and legal analysis skills.
- Expertise in corporate credit.
- Ability to balance risk management with LCL’s reputation.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, teamwork and networking skills.
- Rigour, organisation, availability and a natural listening ability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
