Tasks
Objective of Job: As a responsible engineer for lithium-ion battery cells, you specify and develop lithium-ion cells from sourcing to series introduction.
- Life cycle management of lithium-ion cells.
- Contact and qualification with new and existing suppliers for lithium-ion cells.
- Active participation in release-relevant development processes, including testing, FMEA and DFM.
- Design test cases as a basis for development planning and execution, with a focus on development testing.
- Validate the series production maturity of responsible components and functions through integration, function testing and validation.
- Failure analysis.
Qualifications
Education: Completed university degree in chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science or a similar field, preferably with a focus on lithium-ion cells.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in the lithium-ion cell industry, covering cell design or development for automotive applications. Experience in cell production or process engineering is a plus.

- Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English; German is beneficial.
