Purpose and relevance for the organization

Contributes to achieving or exceeding sales and KPI targets by building emotional connections with customers, living the brand values, serving customers, and carrying out store operations conscientiously.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct payment procedures and careful handling of merchandise.
• Complete cash register closings carefully.
• Clean mirrors in the sales area, fitting-room displays, and checkout counters before opening, where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and effective workstation, including replenishing bags, receipts, EC cash supplies, and printer rolls.
• Know store and individual goals and actively work to achieve or exceed them.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations and drive sales and brand awareness by applying suitable elements of the customer service mission.
• Build an emotional connection with every customer as a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
• Maintain an appealing, pleasant shopping environment and uphold visual merchandising, order, and cleanliness standards.
• Follow store rules and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete sales quickly and accurately while following cash-security policies, where applicable.
• Work productively and respectfully with team members to achieve or exceed store goals.
• Complete all required training programs and apply the learning successfully at work.
• Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn and use development opportunities to improve performance.
• Use the Endless Aisle tablet to provide product descriptions or customer feedback during the sales process, where applicable.
• Monitor, prepare, and hand over Click & Collect orders to customers, where applicable.

Required education and experience

• 0–3 years of retail experience.
• Training as a salesperson is desirable.
• 1–2 months of experience in sports and/or fashion retail is preferred.
• Basic English skills.
• Basic spelling and numeracy skills and communication ability.
