CAD NX Customization - Core Role

Job Summary
Develop standalone and integrated desktop applications, macros, and plugins for CAD customization using .NET (C#), VB, or other relevant languages. Work on scripting, XML, and configurable file formats to automate automotive design processes in CAD customization for research and development.
Participate in requirements gathering through end-to-end delivery, coordinate projects, create plans and schedules, align technical decisions with stakeholders, manage client communication, document meetings, and ensure projects meet release timelines and coding standards.
Responsibilities
- Use NX-Open APIs for prototyping, development, and complex solutions.
- Build and deploy projects to test environments.
- Create architecture documentation, specifications, and UI logic.
- Apply SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies and understand architectural patterns.
- Develop quick proofs of concept using current technologies.
- Work with C#/.NET, VB, C/C++, NX, HTML, XML, scripting, AI, and deep learning.
- Manage customer communication and coordinate meetings for technical decisions.
- Follow organizational HR, HSE, coding, and quality policies.
- Apply DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in CAD/CAE customization, preferably with Siemens NX.
- Experience with C# (.NET), VB, and C/C++.
- Knowledge of NXOpen/UFUNC APIs, NX Modelling and Drafting, Visual Studio, UI/Block Styler/WPF, coding standards, JIRA, Confluence, DevOps, cloud technologies, analytical problem-solving, AI, and deep learning.
