Business Development Public Charging Overseas & China (Mandatory Internship)

About the role

Mercedes-Benz is focused on its “Ambition 2039” initiative and is developing a holistic charging ecosystem covering public, home and business charging. The MB.CHARGE Public Overseas & China team supports international market rollouts and innovative customer solutions for public charging.

In this internship, you will support market and product development topics and steer projects for the international development of the charging service, with a focus on markets including Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, India, Malaysia and Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of holistic digital customer solutions for charging services and infrastructure.
• Work independently on international product rollouts and the further development of digital customer products.
• Support marketing and communication activities.
• Prepare competitive analyses, strategic decision-making documents and top management briefings.
• Facilitate workshops and management meetings with internal and external international partners.

Qualifications

• Currently studying business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable subject.
• Experience with digital products or services, preferably customer-facing.
• Interest in charging, e-mobility and energy supply.
• Passion for the future of mobility and interest in new trends and opportunities in dynamic markets and technology environments.
• Self-motivated, responsible and willing to take on new challenges.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; German is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, international or intercultural experience, strong communication skills, assertiveness and negotiation skills are advantageous.
• The internship at this location must be mandatory.
