Business Analyst Reporting Réglementaire / Fixed Income H/F

Job description

• Work in tandem with the Product Manager to understand, formalize and capitalize on functional and technical expertise.
• Progressively and structurally document business rules, calculation models, processes and dependencies.
• Provide operational backup for the GAP TMT scope.
• Translate Risk, Treasury and Finance requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
• Participate in application support and enhancements.
• Support technological migration and the industrialization of data flows.

Work setting: Occasional remote work.

Education and experience

• Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in quantitative finance, financial engineering, applied mathematics or financial IT.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Risk IT, ALM or Treasury IT.
• Strong understanding of quantitative models applied to banking.
• Experience in a banking or regulatory environment is essential.
• Professional French and English.

Skills needed

• Strong understanding of interest-rate and liquidity risks and ALM challenges.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including Basel III/IV, FINMA, IFRS hedge accounting, LCR and NSFR.
• Strong synthesis and analytical skills, curiosity, persistence and patience.
• Ability to explain and clearly document complex concepts.

IT tools

• Proficiency in SQL Server for analysis, validation and optimization.
• Familiarity with Access/VBA for analyzing existing systems.
• Interest in automating and industrializing processes.
