As a Business Analyst within our Application Modernization Services (AMS) practice, you will work alongside clients and colleagues on digital transformation initiatives. You will analyze organizational challenges, translate business needs into clear requirements, and support teams in delivering sustainable solutions.
You will operate at the intersection of business, processes, technology, and change, helping clients achieve their objectives and make informed decisions during digital transformation initiatives.
What Will You Do?
- Analyze business processes, systems, and information needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear requirements, user stories, and functional designs.
- Help stakeholders clarify objectives, priorities, and expectations.
- Support stakeholders in making informed decisions and driving improvement initiatives.
- Assist teams in optimizing processes and implementing appropriate digital solutions.
- Map processes, information flows, and dependencies using models, diagrams, and workflow descriptions.
- Manage and structure requirements and product backlogs.
- Support functional and technical teams in refining and clarifying requirements.
- Contribute ideas for improving existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues on change initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within projects and teams.
What Do You Bring?
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Information Analyst, Functional Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including user stories, backlog management, and refinement sessions.
- Experience with process modeling, BPM, UML, workflows, or similar methodologies.
- The ability to analyze complex information and communicate it clearly to different audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working with stakeholders, users, and development teams.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A structured way of working, with attention to detail while maintaining a broader perspective.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Business Architecture or Enterprise Architecture.
- Familiarity with TOGAF.
- Certifications such as IREB, BABOK (IIBA), BiSL, ITIL, ISQI (CABA), or BCS.
- Experience with Microsoft Access, SQL, or other data sources.
- Experience within the public sector, financial services, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement, or advisory assignments.
