Job Description
Work with Global Operations and Core Practices teams to operate, industrialize and strengthen operational practices. The role requires proven experience handling large-scale, growing infrastructure across data centers and heterogeneous cloud platforms.
The successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills, prior DevOps experience and experience working in a global follow-the-sun operations model. The candidate should lead tasks independently and mentor junior team members.
Must Have
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience deploying and managing highly scalable, fault-resilient systems.
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI or Travis.
- Automation scripting using Shell, Python and Groovy.
- Strong knowledge and experience of AWS services, including EC2, KeyPair creation, Route 53, storage, IAM, VPN, ELB, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and CloudFormation.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools such as ICINGA and Prometheus.
- Ability to design, maintain and support disaster recovery and failover architectures.
- Experience with operating system and application patching and upgrades.
- Incident management experience using runbooks and troubleshooting.
Good to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow or Jira.
- ITIL, AWS or Kubernetes Administrator certification.
- Linux administration and command-line knowledge.
- Networking knowledge covering virtual networks, DNS, IPs, ACLs and firewalls.
- Familiarity with HTTP, FTP, SFTP and SMTP.
- Knowledge of SSL, SSH, LDAP, firewalls and certificates.
Total Experience Expected: 08–10 years
Qualifications
B.E., B.Tech. or MCA.
Additional Information
Requires 24×7 rotational shifts, including night shifts, according to business needs. Availability outside business hours for weekday and weekend on-call or standby support is required.
