Job Description
- Provide L2/L3 support for applications hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and system availability.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, load balancers, and Auto Scaling.
- Deploy applications and services to AWS using automated deployment tools and pipelines.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable release cycles.
- Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch and Datadog.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, including IAM policies and data protection mechanisms.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and environment restoration activities.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployments.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications
- Four to six years of total experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, Datadog, and ELK.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or ECS is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and Git.
