Located on a 330,000 square foot lot on 11th Avenue between 53rd and 54th Streets, Mercedes-Benz Manhattan is the only Mercedes-Benz dealership in the country owned and operated by Mercedes-Benz, delivering an uncompromising inventory of new and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz luxury vehicles and Sprinter Vans.
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Technician works with computerized, electronic equipment and hand tools to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely and efficient manner while providing an outstanding brand and customer experience.
Earn up to $150,000. The technician pay rate is based on experience. Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems and perform basic repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Perform diagnosis and advanced electrical repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Communicate with the appropriate Service Advisor about jobs that will not meet the promised time.
- Work with the Team Leader to complete in-house training.
- Perform maintenance and routine cleaning of the shop and equipment.
- Train and assist other Technicians.
- Complete all training requirements set forth by MBUSA and MBM.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Master certified through the Standards of Excellence Program.
- Minimum three years of automotive dealership technician experience.
- A.S.E. Certification strongly recommended.
- Certifications as required and defined by Service Department prerequisites.
- Luxury vehicle technician experience preferred.
