Automation Tester (Robot Framework)

Capgemini is seeking an Automation Tester (Robot Framework) to develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Python and Robot Framework. This role is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with four days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Execute automated and manual test cases as required.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes.
• Experience with test case design and defect management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Nice to Have

• API testing experience.
• Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools.
• Banking or capital markets domain experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The base compensation range is 70,000 to 87,000 in the posted location.
