Assistant Team Manager (Reporting) - Private Equity, Real Estate Solutions H/F

Within the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Reporting team, which provides comprehensive services to Private Equity, Real Estate, AIFM and GP funds.
As Assistant Team Manager, you will review and validate the work performed by reporting team members, monitor daily production and support activity organization. You will work closely with managers and the Head of Unit to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in onboarding new clients and analyzing their reporting activities and needs.
- Understand and implement priorities defined by management.
- Support management in ensuring tasks are completed to the required quality and deadlines, and objectives are achieved through KPIs.
- Provide the team with technical expertise in accounting, consolidation and financial reporting.
- Participate in audit calls when necessary and follow up on audits with the team, clients and auditors.
- Prepare complex financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP and participate in reviewing financial statements for entities managed by Fund Administration.
- Participate in client service reviews and post-mortems with auditors.
- Support managers in organizing and coordinating reporting team activities.
- Contribute to onboarding new team members and organize knowledge transfer to junior staff.
- Support managers in recruiting junior team members.
- Support ad hoc and analytical projects related to reporting.
- Communicate process and procedure changes and ensure they are properly applied.
Qualifications and experience
Postgraduate degree in accounting, audit or finance, at Master’s level or equivalent. At least four years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting and/or audit, preferably in Private Equity or Real Estate funds. The stated minimum experience level is 3–5 years.
Skills
- Knowledge of investment funds, securities and Private Equity and Real Estate activities.
- Knowledge of accounting techniques, standards and laws related to financial reporting, including consolidation methods, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS Accounting Standards; US GAAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting for investment funds, including CSSF and BCL requirements.
- Legal and financial knowledge.
- Organizational skills, rigor, attention to detail, analytical and synthesis abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, initiative, anticipation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; reporting software knowledge is an advantage.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French is required.
