Join the NIKE Team as an Assistant Store Manager
As a Nike Assistant Store Manager, also referred to as an Assistant Head Coach, you’ll be the face of NIKE in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment. You’ll guide customers, lead and inspire your team, deliver excellent customer service, support inclusion, and drive store growth and community partnerships.
You’ll train your team, implement NIKE Service Principles, represent the NIKE brand and culture, and ensure team members feel supported. You’ll also manage business results, staffing, product flow, visual merchandising, and sales-floor operations.
Putting Your Best Foot Forward
- Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
- Three years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to use tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
What You’re Responsible For
- Leading a team that keeps store functions running seamlessly
- Attracting, assessing, and onboarding new teammates
- Equipping store employees with tools to succeed in their daily responsibilities
- Leading store teams and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management
- Managing the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor
