Role

In NIKE Retail Stores, an Assistant Store Manager is called an Assistant Head Coach. You will cooperate with the Head Coach to create a unique shopping experience and deliver service excellence to consumers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support, and supervise a diverse team, including recruitment, development, performance management, and staffing.
• Implement operational excellence processes and tools to reach sales targets, optimize services, improve consumer satisfaction, and increase efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee departments such as Commercial, Athlete, and Consumer Experience.
• Support the Head Coach in implementing NIKE’s store strategy, including sustainability, membership, and digital services.
• Provide reports about store activities, the local marketplace, and consumer insights.
• Ensure that the store complies with NIKE standards and guidelines.
• Cooperate with business partners across stores and headquarters.

What you bring

• A passion for NIKE and/or a love of sport.
• Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions.
• Extensive retail experience, including management experience.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Experience and competency in delivering exceptional consumer service.
• Ability to coach and develop a strong team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, and weekends.
• Enthusiasm and passion for sports and/or sports fashion.
• Ability to live and work in the Netherlands.
