What is the opportunity?
CACEIS Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia supports custody, transaction management, settlements, NAV production, fund reporting, shareholder services, data service delivery, corporate actions and reconciliations through a global operating model.
Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of static data in MDC and GP. Setups include the creation and amendment of static data in all processing systems. You will support the global business for 8 working hours a day, with shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Malaysia time.
What will you do?
- Ensure completion and maintenance of financial instruments in internal systems.
- Control and validate market data from data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Analyze and execute corporate action events, including dividends, spin-offs and share splits.
- Manage internal and external enquiries on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Provide global servicing from the operating location, including shifts and work on bank, legal holidays and weekends when required.
- Promote quality deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members.
- Ensure regular cross-training and rotation of duties to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Review processes periodically to refresh understanding of requirements and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Tertiary education with a relevant background.
- Three to five years of experience.
- Banking operations experience with basic static data knowledge.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg or other service providers.
- Familiarity with MDC and GP platforms.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- English language proficiency.
