We are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager – Application Security Architect to join our IT team. You will embed security into the design, development, and operation of the application landscape while working with product teams, infrastructure specialists, cybersecurity experts, and business stakeholders.

Your Role

Define and champion application security standards, frameworks, and best practices across the SWT application landscape, helping ensure systems remain resilient, secure, compliant, and ready to support the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities

Define application security architecture standards covering authorization, session management, API security, encryption, and secrets management.
Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines across client-server, distributed, cloud, and on-premises environments.
Drive the secure Software Development Lifecycle strategy with product teams and security leadership.
Conduct architecture and design reviews for high-impact initiatives, application refactoring, authorization flows, data-sharing solutions, and platform migrations.
Plan and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Assess the security posture of external vendors and service providers handling sensitive or personal data.
Support cybersecurity governance, security awareness programs, information security forums, KPI reporting, compliance reviews, and security assessments.
Act as liaison between the SWT applications and Global Cybersecurity teams.
Provide cybersecurity advisory support for cloud transformation and DevSecOps initiatives.
Serve as the primary audit contact for the SWT suite of applications and maintain audit documentation and repositories.
Maintain application records and risks in LeanIX and Archer.
Support application recovery plans, IT service continuity documentation, security assessments, controls, and remediation activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are advantageous.
Minimum five years of relevant experience in Information Technology and/or IT Security.
Experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, cloud platforms, identity and access management, data encryption, and enterprise IT architecture.
Proven experience as a Security Architect, Security Analyst, or in a similar cybersecurity role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders in a global or matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel as required.
