Job Overview

Pick and pack dealer orders according to assigned priorities and quality standards.
Unpack incoming shipments and verify and inspect contents according to departmental procedures.
Bin incoming parts in assigned locations.
Participate in the perpetual inventory process.
Maintain assigned areas in good condition.
Follow all safety and security regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform basic parts distribution center warehouse functions, including picking, packing, checking and binning, in accordance with procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
0–2 years of general warehouse experience.
General knowledge of processes, quality control, costs and techniques used to achieve productivity rates.
Warehouse experience required.

Additional Information

The warehouse environment may be dusty and noisy, with drafts, temperature changes, uneven or slippery surfaces and exposure to forklifts, machinery and sharp-edged merchandise. Work gloves and safety shoes are provided. Warehouse associates may operate lift equipment after certification.

Physical requirements include extended walking or standing, stooping, climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, pushing and pulling, operating warehouse machinery, and lifting or unloading materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity, vision and hearing sufficient to safely handle products and respond to approaching machinery are required.
