Within Asia Operations, the Reconciliations & Investigations Team is responsible for reconciling cash and stock accounts and managing cash investigation cases relating to incoming and outgoing cash transfers.
Your responsibilities
- Process and control activities within the Reconciliations & Investigations function.
- Reconcile depot, internal and nostro accounts, including securities and cash-related transactions.
- Identify, investigate, escalate and resolve breaks in line with agreed timelines and risk standards.
- Act as a point of contact for clients on cash-transfer queries and issues, ensuring investigations are monitored, followed up and resolved.
- Proactively manage and resolve discrepancies and high-priority operational issues with external stakeholders locally and abroad.
- Build trusted working relationships with internal stakeholders across Switzerland and Asia.
- Improve operational efficiency and contribute to continuous process-enhancement initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer across reconciliation and investigation processes.
- Participate in Azqore Asia Operations projects and drive process improvements where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in Banking or Finance.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in Securities and/or Cash Operations.
- Experience in Private Banking and/or Securities Reconciliations is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial products including Securities, Cash/FX and derivatives, as well as market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks related to trade processing and settlement.
- Knowledge of relevant MT1XX, MT2XX and MT5XX message types.
- Good knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office; Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Mandarin and French proficiency are a plus.
