Role Overview
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited is seeking a Solution Architect / Lead Full Stack Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions across full-stack ecosystems. The role combines hands-on technical depth with architectural leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture across frontend, backend, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance system designs.
- Lead architectural governance, design reviews, technical decisions, and engineering teams.
- Design applications using React or similar frontend frameworks and .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Architect microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, and modernization initiatives.
- Design cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Establish monitoring, logging, observability, reliability, deployment, and DevSecOps practices.
- Design relational and NoSQL data architectures, enterprise integrations, messaging systems, and event streaming.
- Define application security, IAM, RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, federated identity, secrets management, and secure API access.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and reliability.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, delivery governance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, microservices, distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native principles.
- Experience with IAM, enterprise security architecture, MySQL or PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience leading large-scale or complex technology implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience with significant solution architecture and technical leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, TOGAF or similar frameworks, estimation, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Architecture certifications and exposure to AI/ML, analytics, or data engineering are a plus.
