Job description
You will join the Transport team, composed of six analysts, at the center of the bank’s credit decision-making process for Structured and Corporate Finance transactions involving aviation, maritime and rail clients and prospects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing requests from commercial teams in France and internationally.
- Writing mainly in English well-supported opinions based on financial documentation, financial and non-financial due diligence including ESG, commercial and tax analysis, business-line reports, and internal or external sector studies.
- Presenting your opinion to management and participating in the bank’s credit committees.
- Contributing to team-wide projects, including backtesting methodology updates, strategy reviews and portfolio reviews.
You will interact with business-line teams in France and abroad, Credit, Country and Sector Analysts, and colleagues from other bank departments including Coverage, Compliance, Finance and Methodology.
Profile
You are pursuing a one-year Master’s degree or equivalent from a university, business school or engineering school, specializing in Banking or Finance. This internship is open to candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of financial analysis.
- Strong writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Analytical and critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, adaptability and intellectual curiosity, particularly regarding the transport sector.
