Purpose
The Analyst gathers and provides inputs to align preseason deployment and fulfillment strategies for Wholesale in North America and ensures seamless execution by tracking deviations from aligned plans. The role includes seasonal distribution center utilization planning, including customer order complexity, to optimize fulfillment operations.
Key responsibilities
- Gather inputs from Account Management to align preseason deployment and fulfillment strategies.
- Monitor deviations from aligned deployment and fulfillment plans.
- Coordinate account direct ship targets to support distribution center utilization and capacity planning.
- Gather customer value-added services requirements and integrate them into fulfillment plans.
- Meet seasonally with Deployment teams to align on strategy and address issues.
- Provide inputs to DC Operations, Inbound, and Finance teams for long-term staffing and cost management.
- Track KPIs, analyze data, and prepare reports on deployment and fulfillment performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Wholesale fulfillment operations.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Understanding of supply chain principles, deployment, fulfillment, inventory control, and wholesale distribution processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of distribution center utilization planning, capacity management, and customer value-added services.
Education and experience
- College or university degree focused on supply chain management preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in logistics, footwear, or apparel.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience, preferably in supply chain management or customer service within the footwear and apparel industry.
