You are looking for an internship in artificial intelligence applied to software development and have an interest in technological innovation in the banking sector? Join Crédit Agricole CIB as an AI Innovation Analyst supporting PACO, a strategic banking application.
PACO is a Swift payments service deployed as Java microservices with Kubernetes and an Angular interface. It enables back-office users in the capital markets department to monitor payment workflows and intervene when payments are not processed automatically. As part of the strategic NEMO programme, PACO is being enhanced through continued deployment and stronger automated testing for international payments while ensuring non-regression across existing entities.
The Agile team consists of one product owner, one delivery lead/scrum master, two business analysts and six developers. Remote work is possible up to two days per week, with on-site presence required every day during the first two weeks for onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Explore and experiment with artificial intelligence solutions to optimise the development of strategic banking applications.
- Participate in automating tests, code reviews and deployment processes using AI assistants.
- Analyse the performance, reliability and security of AI-generated results and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps and Business teams to promote responsible and effective adoption of artificial intelligence.
Education and experience
- Engineering school, computer science or university background.
- Specialisation in software and/or artificial intelligence.
- One-year Master's level (M1).
- Initial experience in software development, artificial intelligence or automation is desirable.
- Experience level: 0–2 years.
Skills
- Java 21, Angular 18, Spring Boot and SQL.
- IntelliJ, Kubernetes, Kafka, microservices, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Microsoft Office.
- Fluent French and English.
- Rigour, curiosity, attention to detail, perseverance, clear documentation, adaptability and effective communication.
