  • Provide architectural leadership during major incidents, root cause investigations, and problem management cycles.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for real-time visibility and proactive issue detection.
  • Lead IT operations governance, cost optimization, platform efficiency, modernization, capacity planning, and resource forecasting initiatives.
  • Provide or oversee 24×7 production support to ensure high availability and operational integrity.
  • Serve as the primary architectural and technical strategy contact for infrastructure-related business needs.
  • Manage consulting engagements, demand handling, and requirements shaping with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Computer or Information Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
  • Five or more years of experience with SRE principles, observability tools, AWS or Azure, cloud monitoring and management systems, cloud security, DevOps tools, ITIL, Docker, Kubernetes, IT security, cloud migration, Infrastructure-as-Code, vendor management, and data center operations.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS or Azure certification and SAFe Agile certification.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, customer focus, organizational, negotiation, conflict management, and communication skills.
