Job Overview

Manage development, deployment, maintenance, analysis, technical strategy, and production-related matters involving Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud. Analyze, design, code, implement, and document highly technical systems required to support MBUSA business partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design, assembly, and secure distribution of complex data sets. Coordinate database architecture and automation processes supporting secure data flow into and out of Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud.
• Develop and implement technical solutions that advance enterprise goals, integrate with existing IT and marketing infrastructures, and solve business problems.
• Perform functional analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, blueprinting, and coordination with technical and non-technical teams.
• Maintain and support Java-based microservices deployed on AWS, including API enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Provide day-to-day support to business partners and team members, working with support, infrastructure, operations, dealership personnel, and others to resolve technical problems.
• Review existing solutions and recommend improvements to performance and usability.
• Serve as Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud Administrator and oversee related responsibilities, including administration for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Provide technical options and guidance for resolving highly technical issues.
• Support internal security standards and compliance requirements through approved security practices, audits, reviews, and remediation actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, preferably in Computer or Information Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
• Salesforce Service or Sales Cloud certifications are preferred, including Developer 1, Certified App Builder, or Platform Builder certifications.
• 5–7+ years of experience with object-oriented programming, Salesforce administration, application development, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and change management.
• Experience developing on the Force.com platform using Apex, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience writing SOQL and SOSL queries and analyzing Apex classes and triggers.
• Ability to design and build high-performance, reusable, reliable Apex code using best practices.
• Experience managing Salesforce users, security controls, data, roles, profiles, and reports.
• Understanding of Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud architecture and the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile methodology.
• Optimization, campaign, and lead-management experience is preferred.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge or experience is preferred.

• Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules.
• Must be able to travel domestically when required.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends when required.
• Candidate must be local to Atlanta, Georgia, and comfortable working four days in the office.
