Capgemini seeks an ABL - Trade Finance HTS Production Support Engineer to provide production support and manage critical incidents in complex, highly available banking environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support and manage critical incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve application and infrastructure problems.
- Perform root cause analysis and continuously improve service quality.
- Monitor services, track metrics and prepare operational reports.
- Coordinate with global teams to restore and stabilize services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and 24/7 support.
Required knowledge and experience
- Java code reading, debugging and log analysis.
- Linux/Unix, Oracle and middleware technologies.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics and ITM or similar.
- ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Troubleshooting using logs, metrics and traces.
- Fundamentals of AI applied to support, including analysis, documentation and assisted automation.
- CI/CD, Jenkins, Python or Shell scripting, and APIs are desirable.
- Production support in complex, highly available environments.
- Critical incident management and technical problem resolution.
- Experience with banking or regulated environments is desirable.
- ITIL certification is desirable.
