As part of our ADAS software organization, we are responsible for bringing next-generation driver assistance software into series production. Our team works at the interface between software development, ECU manufacturing suppliers, and Mercedes-Benz testing organizations. We ensure successful software integration on production hardware, coordinate industrialization activities, and drive validation efforts to deliver production-ready ECUs for future vehicle platforms.
Tasks
- Actively support flashing and troubleshooting on remote test benches.
- Establish test benches for flashing and comprehensive testing purposes.
- Develop automation tools using Python, encompassing GUI and CLI applications.
- Prepare and deliver ECU samples to designated carlines.
- Execute testing procedures on software bundles flashed onto ECU samples.
- Manage resources efficiently within the hardware lab.
- Document workflows comprehensively using Confluence.
- Handle Jira tickets for task and issue tracking.
- Prepare workspaces of new software releases for flashing.
The activity can begin from October 2026.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a master’s degree in any discipline, with experience in computer engineering or a related field.
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable technical course of study.
- Proficient written and spoken English; proficiency in German is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge and experience with any Linux operating system.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of Python or other relevant programming or scripting languages.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker or Docker Swarm.
- Experience with networking is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Adept troubleshooting skills for efficient issue resolution.
- Enthusiasm and adaptability towards acquiring new knowledge and skills.
