Tasks
Mercedes-Benz is developing its own MB.OS operating system for future vehicle generations. The MB.OS End-to-End E/E Software Journey project designs new processes and IT products to deliver MB.OS software to vehicles in increasingly shorter cycles, from development environments and prototype vehicles through global production and over-the-air customer updates.
As a working student, you will:
- Analyze customer requirements for evaluations of data from development, production and after-sales
- Perform in-depth data analyses using Azure Databricks and evaluate process flows
- Help design KPIs for steering the Solution, ARTs and products
- Own the department's KPI mood board
- Support foreign workforce management and take on governance tasks
- Update intranet pages
- Edit team interview videos
- Create and prepare management presentations
- Organize, prepare and conduct major project events
The role can start in August 2026. The project team is cross-functional and organized according to the scaled-agile SAFe model.
Qualifications
- Ideally studying computer science, business informatics, media informatics, electrical engineering or a comparable subject
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
- Interest in staying with the team beyond one semester
- Basic understanding of relational databases and knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of software development for vehicle control units
- Up-to-date knowledge of the digital environment
- Experience maintaining content management systems and using image and video editing software
- Strong organizational, creative and analytical skills, reliability and attention to detail
- Very good communication skills and the ability to work effectively under time pressure
- Independent, solution-oriented working style, teamwork and a strong quality mindset
