NIKE, Inc. is looking for the next Athlete to join the team at Nike Murthal. As a Nike Direct Athlete, you will provide world-class service to consumers using four service principles: Know, Equip, Engage, and Inspire.
What You Will Work On
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of Service, Visual Presentation, and Stockroom roles.
- Deliver the best possible service and attention to all consumers.
- Assist with daily retail operations to ensure premium service and smooth store functioning.
- Develop positive relationships with consumers and teammates and support store events.
- Work varied hours and days to meet business needs.
- Operate the cash register, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, clean, and build visual displays when necessary.
Minimum Educational Requirements
High School/Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year degree is also accepted.
Minimum Work Experience
At least one year of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in the apparel or lifestyle field. Hands-on Visual Merchandising training with a large chain or national retailer is preferred.
Minimum Skills
- Ability to apply, interpret, and implement PP Guidelines.
- Ability to execute and maintain mannequin styling standards.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, professional, extensive written direction.
- Basic computer knowledge and use of PowerPoint presentations.
- Professional communication with internal and external teams, strong negotiation skills, and clear speaking and listening abilities.
- Ability to explain tasks, train staff in merchandising and display fundamentals, follow through, communicate challenges, and identify solutions.
- Organization, strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and workload prioritization.
Physical Environment
The role may require lifting packages into tight spaces, bending, carrying stock across different areas, and moving up and down ladders. Employees must generally be able to use sensory perception and muscle control with or without accommodation.
