VIE - Account executive and management control analyst H/F

CACI (Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance) is the Credit Agricole Assurances Group subsidiary specialising in creditor protection insurance (CPI). CACI is a major player in France and Europe, with around 30 partners in six countries.

The successful candidate will join a positive and vibrant company with a skilled, passionate team. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager - Technical accounts and the Management Control Planning Analyst and provides exposure to a wide range of activities and projects.

Accounting responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy, reliability and completeness of technical data.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly technical accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of third-party administrator fees and insurance premium tax calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of reinsurance accounts.
• Assist in two key projects: a new technical accounting system and Group IFRS 17.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update departmental procedures.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare regular updates of the underlying reserving data.
• Act as backup for fellow colleagues and team leaders during absences.
• Participate in the improvement of processes and deliverables.

Management control responsibilities

• Participate in quarterly closings for management reporting.
• Participate in the planning and controlling process, contributing to the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and quarterly budget reviews.
• Follow CACI's business volumes and activity for analysis and communication to stakeholders, including the CFO, branches and Group.
• Participate in the improvement of processes and deliverables.

External relations

• Develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
• Liaise closely with the line manager.
• Maintain good relationships with external and internal auditors.
• Work closely with business partners and third-party administrators.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree, MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent.
• Training or specialisation in accounting technician studies, business studies in accounting or management control.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of one or more accounting software applications.
• Fluent English; French or another European language is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, teamwork, organisation and punctuality.
