Your responsibilities

  • Act decisively and engage effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with external customers and internal supply chain, customer service and supply planning organizations, focusing on increased value and benefit realization.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with carriers, particularly for issues and exception management.
  • Communicate with customer sites about delivery changes.
  • Assist OpCo customer services with special requests for time-definite deliveries and shipment-based transport selections.
  • Execute daily transportation planning activities, including load consolidation, mode shifts and route optimization.
  • Manage unrouteable issues during the optimization process within expected timelines.
  • Manage the booking and execution of transportation loads.
  • Monitor carrier status updates and proactively communicate and resolve transportation exceptions.
  • Seek opportunities to improve current processes and advise on improvements to the transport planning scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics or a related field.
  • English and Polish language skills.
  • Good understanding of or experience with OTM.
  • Understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies.
  • Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask daily activities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

  • Experience working for a multinational organization and with colleagues internationally.
  • FMCG or AlcoBev industry experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
