About the placement
Primark’s undergraduate placement programme offers a 12-month development experience starting in Summer 2027. You’ll work on real projects with autonomy, gain exposure to merchandising professionals, and contribute to the business from day one.

About you
You should be an undergraduate seeking a 12-month placement before returning to university for your final year. You’ll have an interest in numbers and figures, an eye for detail, and an awareness of timelines. You’ll be curious, proactive, able to manage your own workload, and comfortable working with others.
This placement is suited to students studying Fashion, Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a commercial-related degree.
What you’ll do
- Monitor sales and stock
- Resolve data inaccuracies
- Produce analysis reports
- Work with teams on departmental tasks and projects
- Build relationships and share ideas at team meetings
- Attend masterclasses and regular catch-ups with your buddy and line manager
- Present to your Director at the end of the placement
