Job Description

• Work extensively on timing-related activities, including library, LVF, AOCV, POCV, and SOCV.
• Use CAD tools and correlate different timing sign-off tools with Spice simulation across timing, noise, and Monte Carlo metrics.
• Apply a deep understanding of library characterization processes and hands-on experience with standard cell library characterization.
• Automate and develop new flows to improve team productivity using Python, Perl, TCL, Bash, and other technologies.
• Apply working knowledge of Spice extraction, modeling, and aging reliability models for the latest technology nodes.
• Use knowledge of physical design practices, including Place and Route and Static Timing Analysis sign-off.
• Learn and participate in developing and validating new methodologies.

Must Have

• 1–3 years of experience in characterization, timing, power, and pin-capacitance library modeling for analog and GPIOs.
• Functional understanding of GPIO and analog IP characterization.
• Experience with characterization tools and simulators such as Silicon Smart, HSPICE, PrimeSim, AFS, Spectre, and Liberty format descriptions is preferred.
• Self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
• Scripting skills, especially Python-based programming, are an advantage.

ASIC Physical Design

Experience or knowledge with DesignCompiler, IC Compiler II, FusionCompiler, PrimeTime, StarRC, Innovus, synthesis, floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, and STA.
