Territory Loss Prevention Director, North America West Territory

NIKE, Inc. is looking for a Territory Loss Prevention Director who is passionate about keeping teams safe, securing locations and protecting products and the brand across Nike Stores throughout the Western United States. This role must be located within the supported territory, preferably Portland, Oregon, and requires a strong history of leading teams and managing Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or Security programs in a multi-unit setting.
What You Will Work On
- Lead and develop District Loss Prevention Managers across key cities and markets throughout the territory.
- Develop and lead a business strategy that supports the Nike Resilience and Loss Prevention mission.
- Partner with territory leadership to support Nike Store operational goals and objectives.
- Implement Nike policies, standards and procedures to protect the brand, limit disruptions, reduce shrink and address business risks.
- Advance safety and security priorities aligned with Nike maxims and corporate policies.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders supporting the safety and security of Nike locations.
- Drive continuous improvement in Loss Prevention programs through business needs, industry trends, field feedback and pain points.
- Guide teams through emergency and crisis situations and provide off-hours, on-call support when needed.
This will be accomplished through
- Leading teams in Incident Management, Physical Security, Theft and Investigations, Profit Protection, Safety and Risk Assessment.
- Establishing accountability through hiring, clear expectations, talent development and performance management.
- Building cross-functional relationships and projects with Resilience, North America Retail Operations, Legal, Communications, Human Resources and Employee Relations.
- Building external relationships with law enforcement agencies, retail partners and Loss Prevention industry channels.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
- A four-year degree in Criminal Justice, Business or a related field is preferred.
- At least 10 years of directly relevant experience.
- Five or more years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or Operations.
- Three or more years of experience leading teams.
- Experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail or customer-service-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Experience influencing key business partners and senior leadership.
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to make business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
