Temp Cellar Assistant

Join the harvest team at Durbanville Hills as a temporary Cellar Assistant for the 2027 wine season. This seasonal role supports cellar operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with grape intake and processing.
• Perform wine transfers, pump-overs, and general cellar activities under supervision.
• Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and work areas.
• Support cellar operations throughout the harvest season.

Education & Experience Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding cellar environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Previous experience in a winery, cellar, production, or agricultural environment will be advantageous.
