Atos is seeking an NG911 Technical Architect to design, govern, and assure end-to-end technology solutions from Service Provider ingress to PSAP termination. The client-facing role provides architectural leadership across infrastructure, applications, security, and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Service Provider-to-PSAP technical architectures that meet business and operational requirements.
- Produce high-level and detailed technical design documentation based on NENA governing standards and related RFCs.
- Define NG911 technology standards, design principles, and architectural patterns.
- Develop solutions for unique client needs within the 911 community.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Develop and describe technical solutions during pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for NG911 projects and programs.
- Guide and mentor engineers, developers, and technical specialists.
- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical decision-making.
- Support projects throughout the lifecycle from design through implementation and transition to operations.
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and constraints.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Represent the business in industry standards technical working groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15+ years of network or application experience.
- 5+ years working in an E911 and/or NG911 environment.
- 5+ years in technical architecture, solution architecture, or senior engineering roles.
- Experience designing NG911 NGCS and PSAP CHS solutions.
- Experience creating technical documentation, including ATP, DR, COOP, and ICDs.
- Current or previous involvement in NENA technical working groups.
- Expertise in NG911 protocols including SIP, MSRP, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, IP, and DNS.
- Familiarity with NG911 location services, application function architecture, transitional elements, security architecture, and governance.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation range is $80,139.00–$128,223.00 USD.
